NPS THOUGHTEXCHANGE ACTIVATED: YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE RECOMMENDED 2022-23 NPS BUDGET

Norwalk Public Schools uses a tool called ThoughtExchange to gather your input on various topics. This ThoughtExchange is seeking your thoughts regarding the upcoming 2022-23 district school budget.

Click here to answer the following question:

During the December 14th and 21st meetings,  the Board of Education discussed the proposed operating and capital budgets for the 2022-23 school year.  What are your thoughts and questions about the recommended 2022-23 Norwalk Public Schools budget?

Please visit our NPS YouTube page for recordings on the meetings: NPS YouTube

To view the presentations, please visit our website: NPS Budget Documents

You will be asked to answer one open-ended question with as many responses as you like and then move on to the next step which is Star. In Star, you will see your thoughts and the thoughts of others and assign stars to each thought (from 1-5) depending on how strongly you agree or disagree with the idea.

ThoughtExchange keeps confidential who shared each thought and who assigned what ratings. You can rate as many thoughts as you'd like before moving on to Discover where you can see all the thoughts sorted by the average star rating. You can also navigate by using the bar across the top to go back and share more ideas or star some more thoughts at any time.

Quick Tips:

  • This Exchange is confidential. Your thoughts will be shared with other participants, but not your identity.
  • You will see and rate thoughts that others have shared. 5 stars = strongly agree, 1 star = strongly disagree.
  • You do not need to rate all thoughts, though it's recommended to rate at least 20.
