Norwalk High School wraps up the spring musical season with its production of “Newsies.” The NPS Curriculum Department also brings an informative parent workshop on social and emotional learning.

Norwalk High School will host its 37th Annual District Wide College Fair on Wednesday, April 26 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. High school students are invited to come visit with over 100 colleges and universities in attendance. This event is FREE!

Norwalk High School presents “Newsies”

Fridays, April 28 & May 5 at 7 p.m.; Saturdays, April 29 & May 6 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The Norwalk High School Drama Club will present Disney’s Broadway hit musical, “Newsies” next month.

Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, the musical tells the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who dreams of a life as an artist away from the big city. After publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer raises newspaper prices at the newsboys expense, Kelly and his fellow newsies take action. With help from the beautiful female reporter Katherine Plumber, all of New York City soon recognizes the power of the little man.

Abril trae un descanso muy necesario para los estudiantes, las familias y el personal. Antes y después de las vacaciones, las Escuelas Públicas de Norwalk tienen una serie de eventos divertidos e informativos para que todos disfruten.

El Club de Drama de Norwalk High School presentará el exitoso musical de Broadway de Disney, "Newsies" el próximo mes.

Basado en la huelga de repartidores de periódicos de 1899, el musical cuenta la historia de Jack Kelly, un repartidor de periódicos rebelde que sueña con una vida de artista lejos de la gran ciudad.
